AhlulBayt News Agency: In the aftermath of Israel's military assault on Yemen's Hodeidah port on the western coast, the Ansarullah movement has declared its intention to broaden and intensify its operations targeting Israeli territory.
Nasreddin Amer, serving as deputy chairman of Ansarullah's Information Council, issued a statement via X platform (previously known as Twitter), asserting that "Israel's aggressive strike on Hodeidah port has failed to create any meaningful disruption to our Gaza solidarity operations, nor has it dampened the spirit of our citizens who demonstrate weekly in massive numbers to show support for Gaza."
According to IRNA, Amer emphasized that the Israeli bombardment has not impeded their strategic preparations for escalating and expanding military actions deep within Israeli-controlled areas.
He further declared that "Yemen's maritime embargo against Israel, which has resulted in the complete shutdown of Umm al-Rishrash port (Eilat), will remain in effect. Similarly, the aviation restrictions imposed on Lod Airport (Ben Gurion International), which have forced numerous international airlines to suspend operations to Israeli airports, will continue unchanged."
The statement underscores Ansarullah's commitment to maintaining pressure on Israeli economic infrastructure despite facing retaliatory strikes, signaling a potential escalation in the regional conflict dynamics.
